Indulge with a strong Australian coffee with hints of hazelnut and chocolate.
More information about the coffee in the description below. More
Australia is a somewhat unusual location for coffee growing, but it has a story and a tradition. The declining coffee production here was resurrected by an army captain originally from Africa.
South African-born Ian MacLaughlin served his country as an army captain until 1981. He and his wife Marion subsequently moved to Oman and then to the UK. Eventually, however, Australia caught their eye, specifically the city of Perth, where they relocated with their family in 1987 and decided to start the Skybury coffee company.
Hard work and an innovative approach have seen the growth of this Australian producer, which today supplies almost 50% of the world's balanced green arabica coffee. Yet it is still a family business whose success is due not only to technology but also to the diligence and tenacity of three generations of the MacLaughlin family.
Australia Skybury Plantation's fortified coffee impresses with its bold body and light hazelnut aftertaste, which transitions into hints of chocolate.
