More
Coffee production began on the Rancho Grande farm in 1933, when Mr. Aneite Reis inherited 5 hectares of land. Over time, the farm expanded and production techniques were improved thanks to the great efforts of the whole family. Today the farm is run by José Carlos Reis and his son Flávio Reis, son and grandson of Mr Aneite.
The aim of the farm is to produce coffee of the highest possible quality hand in hand with sustainable agriculture. By using new approaches, they strive to protect the environment not only on the farm but also in the surrounding area. In addition to the environment, they are also concerned with the quality of life of their employees, for whom they provide accommodation on the farm with subsidised energy and food.
The coffee offers a combination of two coffees from this production. Manga larga is processed by anaerobic natural method. The process begins by placing the cherries in closed tanks where fermentation takes place without access to oxygen. The resulting coffee acquires an intense flavour reminiscent of exotic fruits. Caixa processed using the natral method gives the coffee its typical fruity notes. The resulting blend will give an interesting spicy taste of exotic fruits with subtle notes of berries.
In this coffee, you can especially find sweet fruity notes of blackberries underlined by lemon, tamarind with a hint of dark chocolate and licorice.
