The Palmichal farm of farmer Atilan Giraldo is located at an altitude of 1,560 metres in one of the most fertile coffee regions of Colombia in the Andes in the Cordillera Central. The farm grows 53 hectares of coffee trees surrounded by yucca and plantain.
Atilano started out on the farm under the guidance of his father and gradually took over the care of the farm. Atilano's grandfather had already been growing coffee in the area and over the years, together with his son and grandson, he perfected the growing processes. Thanks to his deep knowledge of coffee, Atilana Giralda was able to create a full profile coffee with a seductive aroma. With two rainy seasons per year, Atilano can harvest his coffee twice a year.
In the cup, we find notes of juicy maracuja acidity that give way to an aftertaste of sweet melon.
