The coffee comes from Las Lajas Farm, owned and operated by husband and wife team Oscar and Francisca Chacon. They use their own facilities to process the coffees from their plantations, allowing them to test new processes and produce unique microlots.
The Black Honey coffee processing method is one of the most costly. Precise procedure and sacrificed time conjure up the perfect coffee. Thanks to the method used, a rich amount of fruit flavours and juice from the coffee pulp are absorbed into the beans.
The resulting coffee is full of juicy flavour with a pronounced fruity sweetness from the berries. The cup smells of blueberries, blackberries and wine barrel.
