This Abyssinian mocca, or Abyssinian (Ethiopian) mocca, comes from southwestern Ethiopia, more specifically from four regions: the Jimma, Illubabor, Bench Maji and Keficho Shekicho. Only the ripe red coffee cherries are hand-picked and sorted. The farmers then dry them on dried beds for about 14 days until they are 12% dry.

The sun and careful processing give the coffee a deliciously sweet taste with notes of dried fruit, orange, wine, dark chocolate and cocoa.
