From an early age, Cecilia knew that growing coffee was her life's goal. Growing up, she admired her neighbors who grew coffee. She saw the benefits of coffee production and grew up wanting to grow coffee one day. Her journey into coffee farming began in 1972 when she took over Faith Estates.
It has brought together more than 30 owners of small farmsteads in Kirinyaza, who meet monthly for training, business planning and knowledge sharing on coffee cultivation and processing. Her business idea is simple, but at the same time perfect. Everyone in the area, who will process the coffee according to the agreed procedures in the highest possible quality, can process the coffee together and sell it as Faith Estates.
In the future, Cecilia wants to expand the reach of Faith Estates and roast the coffee herself and sell it in supermarkets and other local stores.
