La Bastilla Farm is located at an altitude of 1050-1459 m above sea level, approximately 20 km from the town of Jinotega, adjacent to the biologically important Datanli el Diablo Nature Reserve.
The farm has been certified by the Rainforest Alliance since 2003, thus participating in a programme of continuous improvement in social, economic and environmental sustainability. The area is characterised by its microclimate, shade trees and volcanic soil.
The combination of pure nature and the love of growing coffee has produced a truly unique coffee with a very balanced and sweet taste, a pleasant citrus acidity, a full body and a complex aroma.
