Traditionally, maté should be served in a container made from a hollowed-out gourd with a narrow neck, called either a maté or a calabasa. The drink is sipped with a bamboo straw or a metal straw - a bombilla - which is pierced at the lower end to act as both straw and sieve.
Ingredients: Green mint (34%) *, Apple pieces (16%) *, Lemongrass (15%) *, Licorice root *, Lemon peel * , Natural flavouring, Acidity regulator: citric acid, Lime pieces *, Lemon myrtle *, Sunflower leaves * (* Organic ingredients)
Tea preparation:
1 small teaspoon of tea per cup. Pour into a sieve or cup and pour 100°C water. Allow to infuse for 10 min. Rinse for 10 minutes.
